"Plant a Posy for Mom" at the Palatine Farmers' Market!

First day of the Spring/Summer outdoor Palatine Farmers' Market opens this Saturday, May 7, 2016 7am - 1pm

"Plant a Posy for Mom"...is a tradition on the first day of the Palatine Farmers’ Market when the market moves outdoors for the beginning of the spring/summer season.

This yearly tradition is graciously hosted by Maggie's Munchies, University of Illinois Master Gardeners and the "Indiana Boys" farmers, by contributing the materials and lending a helping hand to the little ones as they plant their Mom a flower. You're never too old to remember your Mom so stop by and plant a flower just for her! What better way to kick off the season than by remembering Mom!

The Palatine Farmers' Market brings together local farmers every Saturday for fresh, organic foods, nutritious vegetables and delicious fruit.
