Property Tax Appeal and Seminar

Palatine Township residents can file a property tax with the Board of Review starting 12/2 and through 12/31. Your appeal can be filed at the Palatine Township Assessor's Office, 721 S. Quentin Road. This is your second opportunity to appeal your 2019 taxes. If you filed an appeal with the Cook County Assessor and did not receive a reduction, or even if a reduction was granted, a second appeal can be filed with the Board of Review.

On December 3rd a seminar, "HOW TO FILE AN APPEAL WITH THE BOARD OF REVIEW" will be held at Cutting Hall, 150 E. Wood Street. Seminar will be led by Board of Review Commissioner Dan Patlak. Doors open at 7 pm and seminar will start at 7:30 pm.
