How to File a Property Tax Appeal with the Cook County Assessor
Palatine Township residents can learn how you can file a property tax appeal and learn more about property tax exemptions and the appeal process at an upcoming seminar.
Representatives from The Cook County Assessor’s Office, along with Palatine Township Assessor Terry Kelly, will present all the information needed to file an appeal on Tuesday, July 30th at 7pm. The seminar will be held at Cutting Hall, 150 E. Wood Street, in Palatine.

For those wanting to file a property tax appeal, all of the necessary forms to file will be made available at this event.
“2019 is a reassessment year for Palatine Township residents,” Assessor Kelly noted. “The new values placed on your property is what can be appealed,” Kelly further added.
