Rainforest Cafe At Woodfield Mall Will Close
The Rainforest Cafe in Schaumburg opened in 1995 and is set to close in the coming weeks.
SCHAUMBURG, IL — The Rainforest Cafe at Woodfield Mall will be closing once its lease ends on Jan. 1, according to the Daily Herald. Woodfield spokeswoman Bonni Pear said the mall already has plans for the prominent space on the lower level near Sear's and an announcement on the new tenant is expected in the first quarter of 2020.
The Rainforest Cafe opened at the Woodfield Mall in October 1995 — about a year after the first Rainforest Cafe opened at the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota, according to the article.
