Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening Held for J2 Massage in Palatine

The practice offers courses in pediatric and infant massage and says it provides relief from colic, growing pains and sports injuries.

The Palatine Area Chamber of Commerce highlighted business newcomer J2 Massage, a massage therapy practice that recently opened in Palatine, at a ribbon cutting ceremony and grand opening on July 23, 2017.

Located at 616 N. North Court, the family-friendly practice offers courses in pediatric and infant massage, and its founders say that they encourage children's wellness by providing relief from colic, growing pains and muscle injuries from sports activities.

“As we enter into our new home in the Palatine Community, we want to help new parents build bonds with their children, help athletes achieve their goals and help to provide relaxation of mind and body to all,” said Julia Tarnorutskaya, co-owner of J2 Massage.

The practice also provides various forms of adult massage therapy including Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy, hot stone massage and pre- and post-natal services. Co-owners and therapists Jord’an Helmick and Tarnorutskaya are fully licensed and have been working together for more than nine years.
