Santa Claus is Coming Soon to Woodfield Mall

Halloween is officially over, which means it will soon be time to usher in the holiday season.

Woodfield Mall, at 5 Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg, will officially welcome the holidays this week with the grand arrival of Santa Claus. Santa’s arrival celebration, a free event, will be held this Thursday, Nov. 5, at 6 p.m.

The grand arrival will feature a parade of drummers from Conant High School, which will lead the way as Old St. Nick makes his first appearance at the mall this holiday season. Families are welcome to the celebration, which will be held at the mall’s Minion-themed ”Ice Palace.”

Festive elves will offer kids an assortment of candy and Santa bell necklaces and kids can also create holiday-inspired crafts as they wait for their visit with Santa.

Santa will be available for photos -- and a visit from children wishing to share their Christmas lists -- starting on Thursday and continuing through Dec. 24. There will also be photo packages available for your visit with Santa.
