Semi-Auto Handgun, Cocaine Found in Palatine Man's Apartment: Cops
The 24-year-old man faces felony firearm and drug charges.

A semi-automatic handgun, ammo and baggies of cocaine were found Thursday in the apartment of a 24-year-old Palatine man, according to police.
Angel Regino, of the 200 block of Bayside Drive, was arrested and charged with two counts of felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, and single counts of felony unlawful use of a weapon and felony possession of firearm ammunition without a FOID Card.
Palatine police executed a search warrant Thursday at Regino's apartment as the result of a drug investigation. Officers reported finding the following items in the residence:

- a .25-caliber semi-automatic handgun
- 10 rounds of .40 caliber ammunition
- 44 rounds of .25 caliber ammunition
- three baggies containing 3.46 grams of cocaine
- two pills of hydrocodone, a prescription opioid painkiller
Regino's bond was scheduled to be set Friday.
