Short Lawns means fewer bugs!
Short lawns at Camp Reinberg helps ease the bug population just in time for Lullaby Concerts

The lullaby concert series at Camp Reinberg in Palatine is suffered with bugs just like you did at your home. Until.....the grass was cut shorter!. That together with better weather - dryer, cooler - also helped make it very pleasant.
The lullaby concert series is being used to help promote the re-opening of the cabins and campsites at Camp Reinberg. There was some worry initially that the weather was too wet for the lawn seats, and the mosquitos might be overwhelming from the wet weather the area experienced earlier in the summer.
But shorter lawns , dryer weather, cooler temperatures, fans positioned at the camp fire, and a camp fire smoke-out of mosquitos before the concerts starts, makes it now a beautiful relaxing, evening as the sunsets behind the stage.

Thank you Palatine Lawnmower for fixing all the lawnmowers that help keep the grasses short and a thereby a little more bug free.
