St. Charles Care Package event a success
Local officials help dozens of local families with charity event

State Senator and candidate for Congress in the 14th District Jim Oberweis joined area civic leaders in an event on Saturday to help area families in need with a community care package event in St. Charles.
More than 100 people showed up to the Care Package event. Families were provided with a care package that included Fresh Oberweis Dairy milk, RX Water, masks, assorted food items from the H.E.L.P.S. Ministry Food Pantry, and valuable food coupons. At the end of the event, Oberweis Dairy gave more than 150 quarts of milk to H.E.L.P.S. Ministry.
Oberweis has most recently led food and PPE distributions in Yorkville, Batavia, St. Charles, Elgin, Wonder Lake, Harvey, and Chicago. Tax-Deductible Donations may be made at the event to help people in need in the St. Charles Township/Valley View area by giving to H.E.L.P.S. Ministry or Valley View Baptist Church.
