St. Thomas of Villanova Boys Volleyball Teams Place in Tourneys

On March 16 and 17, St. Thomas of Villanova Catholic School competed in the St. Francis de Sales (Lake Zurich) 6th Grade Boys Volleyball Tournament and took second place.

The team—made up of 4th, 5th and 6th grade students—is coached by Head Coach George Iliopoulos and Assistant Coaches Karen Regan and Tomm Smithe.

The team roster includes: Alex Iliopoulos(#2), Andy Iliopoulos (#4), Conrad Okulski (#25), Mark Pribilski (#2), Colin Regan (#19), William Slatkay (#6), and Thomas Smithe (#14).

Andy Iliopoulos, Okulski, Pribiliski and Regan were chosen as All Stars.

The weekend prior, March 9 and 10, St. Thomas of Villanova hosted a volleyball tournament for 7th and 8th Grade Boys Volleyball.

At this tournament, the 7th Grade Boys Volleyball took 4th place. Coached by Head Coach George Iliopoulos and Assistant Coaches Carrie Bargowski and Karen Regan, the roster includes students in both 6th and 7th grade: Jake Bargowski (#16), Jack Castelli (#5), Andy Iliopoulos (#4), Connor Neff (#22), Conrad Okulski (#25), Chris Oscura (#10) and Mark Pribilski (#2), Jose Rodriguez (#8), and William Slatkay (#6)

6th grade student Colin Regan was named MVP.
