Wajo Sushi will move in to a storefront along West Northwest Highway that has been vacant for 6 years.

PALATINE, IL — A new sushi restaurant will be opening soon in the Eurofresh Plaza Shopping Center. Wajo Sushi will occupy a location along West Northwest Highway that has been vacant for six years, the Daily Herald reports.

The Village Council uanimously approved the restaurant's plans to move in to a 1,500-square-foot storefront at 144 W. Northwest Hwy. during Monday's meeting, the report stated. Formerly the home of Lim's Cleaners, the space will be tight for a traditional restaurant, stretching across 14½ feet and going back a little less than 100 feet. That will leave room for 31 seats, which includes four booths, three two-seat tables and an eight-seat sushi bar, the report added.
