Textile Recycling Event - Saturday, October 15th

The Palatine Lions Club and Palatine Township will be co-hosting a FREE Textile Recycling Event from 8:00-12:00 this Saturday.

The Palatine Lions Club and Palatine Township are co-hosting another FREE environmental-friendly TEXTILE collection event this Saturday, October 15th at the Palatine Township offices at 721 S. Quentin Road, Palatine. Donated items will be sorted, recycled & repurposed.

The Palatine Lions Club began their partnership with Palatine Township in 2011 when the first Electronics Recycling took place. Since that time over 29 Environmental Events have taken place whereby thousands of pounds of electronics, paper and textiles have been recycled and rescued from ending up in landfills.

  • All Men’s, Women’s and Children’s Clothing – ALL SIZES
  • Coats & Jackets
  • Bedding & Linens (sheets/comforters/pillowcases/blankets/pillows)
  • Towels, wash cloths and tub mats
  • Table Linens & Cloth Napkins
  • Socks (single or in pairs)
  • Hats & Gloves
  • Undergarments & Bras
  • Sandals & Slippers (in pairs only)
  • Handbags & Purses
  • Fashion Accessories and Belts & Ties
  • Stuffed Animals
  • Books & Toys
  • Kitchenware & Tools
  • Drapes/curtains
  • Pet beds and sleeping bags
