Tri Your Luck Indoor Triathlon at Harper College on March 8
Swim, Bike, and Run Indoors at Foglia Foundation Health and Recreation Center at Harper College.

Palatine Park District’s Tri Your Luck Indoor Triathlon returns for its second year at the Foglia Foundation Health and Recreation Center at Harper College, 1200 W. Algonquin Road, Palatine on Sunday, March 8 from 7:00am-10:00am. The event will be an indoor triathlon with a 10-minute swim in the indoor pool, a 20-minute ride on a stationary spin bike, and a 15-minute run on the indoor track.
“An indoor triathlon is a unique style of race that everyone can compete in,” said Aquatics Coordinator Anthony DeMichael. “Because it is based on total distance as opposed to time, it is guaranteed that everyone who enters will be able to feel the accomplishment of completing a triathlon.”
This event is open to athletes of all levels and limited to only 48 participants. The fee is $35 per person and registration can be completed online. All registered athletes will receive a medal, goody bag, and refreshments.

According to DeMichael, “most people are scared off by the swim portion of the triathlon.” Since winners will be determined by total distance traveled during the timed sessions, DeMichael says, “there is no set distance needed to be covered so swimmers of all ability levels are able to compete.”
