Village To Address New Housing Funds At June 22 Meeting
Palatine has received additional funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development in response to the pandemic.

The Village of Palatine has received additional funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for the Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG) in response to the COVID 19 Pandemic referred to CDBG-CV Funding.

In order to utilize these funds in a timely manner, the Village must approve a Citizen Participation Plan Amendment to add certain public participation processes and waivers approved by HUD. The Village must approve a 2019 Annual Action Plan Substantial Amendment to explain how it will use the CDBG-CV funds. The full texts of the proposed amendments are highlighted in yellow and these documents are accessible on the Village’s website: www.palatine.il.us
