Funeral services for Viola Douglas will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday Nov. 26 at 200 N. Plum Grove Road, Palatine with interment following at Randhill Park Cemetery, Arlington Heights. Visitation will be on Friday at the , 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Viola was the loving wife of the late Robert Douglas; father of Jane (Myles) Powell and Christine (Larry) Gyuricza; grandmother of Shannon, Ryan and Glendon Powell, Jordan, Benjamin, and Zach Gyuricza; sister of Herman Thies Jr.
Memorials in memory of Viola can may be made to Lutheran Church Charities.
