Visitation Set for lifelong Palatine Resident Eleanor Mair Kehr

Eleanor Mair Kehr, 81, a lifelong resident of Palatine, passed away Monday, Nov. 29 after a brief illness.

Visitation has been set for Friday, Dec. 3, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine. Private internment rites will be held Saturday, Dec. 4, at Palatine-Hillside Cemetery.

Kehr was born Nov. 7, 1929, in Evanston. She was the daughter of William and Dorothy Mair. She passed away suddenly Monday, Nov. 29 at Centegra Medical Center in McHenry after a brief illness.

Prior to retirement, Eleanor Kehr had worked as an administrative secretary for Township High School District 211. She was a member of the P.E.O. Sisterhood Chapter EP of Palatine.

Eleanor Kehr was the wife of the late Jack H. Kehr; loving mother of David Kehr and Kahty Kehr Fincham; cherished grandmother of Graham Kehr Fincham; and sister of Ray Mair Sr. and the late William Mair Jr.; fond aunt of Michelle Burris and Ray Mair Jr.
