Woman Faces Burglary Charges After Entering Home, Demanding Beer: Police
Lidia Zuradzka is accused of entering homes on two separate occasions in the past month and requesting an alcoholic beverage.
For the second time in a month, a 52-year-old Wheeling woman faces home burglary charges after she entered a stranger's home and requested an alcoholic beverage, according to media reports.
A $100,000 bond was ordered Wednesday for Lidia Zuradzka, who police said entered a stranger's home through an unlocked door on Monday, according to the Daily Herald.
The female homeowner came downstairs to find Zuradzka in her living room, holding a beer that had been on a table. The homeowner asked her what she was doing and Zuradzka replied, "I want beer," the Daily Herald reports.
A similar incident happened last month.
On May 5, Zuradzka entered a home in the 1200 block of Quincy Court where she was asked to leave by the residents but kept returning and asking for alcoholic beverages, according to a Journal & Topics article.
She was charged with criminal trespassing after police found her in an open garage and took her into custody following a short chase, according to the article.
