New After School Club for D15 students starts August 25, 2014

The After School Club at Orbit Skate Center!

New for D15 School Year 2014-2015, Orbit Skate Center is having an After School Club for K-6th Grades every day that D15 is in school full days. For $10 per day on a 3 day or 5 day plan, families now have an affordable alternative for After School Care for our local schools. Our buses will be providing transportation from Winston Campus, Virginia Lake, Lake Louise and Jane Addams schools to the rink every day.

We are currently working with the transportation department for D15 and if they can make Orbit Skate Center a bus stop for Winston Campus, we will be adding another school and even possibly picking up at St. Thomas as well.

For just $10 per day, here's what's included:
  • Transportation from designated D15 elementary schools.
  • A custom After School Club t-shirt
  • A delicious and healthy snack.
  • Learn to Skate lessons.
  • Arts and Crafts activities.
  • Homework help from college interns and volunteers.
  • Games and Activities like ping pong, Dodgeball, Legos.
  • Closed to the public, the facility is newly heated and air conditioned.
The Club is open to all children K-6th grades in all districts. If your child isn't in one of the above referenced schools or in D15, you can drop them off or form a carpool with other parents. Home Schooled children are welcome and a great way to spend time with other children having fun.

The goal of our After School Club is to provide a valuable resource for working parents at a price they can afford!

We are hosting an Open House on July 31st 6pm - 9pm for any family interested in our program. Free skating and registration will be available, so come on out and get your children ready for FUN every afternoon during the school year!

For more information visit our website or give us a call at 847-394-9199 and we would love to talk to you about having your children join the Club!
