William Jerome Mealey, 90

A funeral service for Mr. William Mealey will be held on Monday, March 26 at 10 a.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine.  Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines.  Visitation will be held on Monday morning from 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.

William was born on December 5, 1921 in Boston, the son of the late Charles and Theresa (nee: Maher) Mealey and passed away on Sunday, March 18.

William was the owner and president for 40 years of Master Well Comb Co of Lake Zurich and was a WWII U.S. Navy Veteran.

Beloved husband of the late Clarisse Mealey, loving father of Kathleen (Mark Stephens) Mealey, and the late Joanne Peterson; cherished grandfather of  Amy and Jamie Askins, Robin (Rob) Millen, William ( Andrea) Peterson, Kimberley Peterson, Polly  (Chris ) Drysdale, and  John Peterson; great grandfather of Cooper and Ezra Heilmann, Ryan and Chad Millen, Kylie and Natalie Peterson.
