Willy Wonka Jr. is one of the sweetest shows of all. An eccentric and brilliant candymaker, Willy Wonka, sends people scrambling through chocolate bars in search of five golden tickets to tour his exclusive factory. The winners and their guardians, including down-to-earth Charlie Bucket, enter a realm of imagination like no other -- full of Oompah-Loompas, chocolate rivers, wacky inventions and edible masterpieces at every turn. This tale is sure to delight sweet tooths young and old.

This musical treat follows the script and the songs of the beloved classic Gene Wilder film, including "The Candyman Can" and "Pure Imagination." Fun for the whole family!

WHO:
Spotlight Youth Theater is a non-profit, educational theater arts program for students 5-18 in the Aurora, Cook, DuPage, Kane, Kenosha (WI), Lake, McHenry, Milwaukee (WI), Oak Park, Orland Park, Rockford Metro, and Shorewood areas and has approximately 6,000 students per year. Each area offers summer camps and after-school classes in dance, voice, drama and theatrical specialties, and performs three fully staged musical productions per year. Spotlight is non-discriminatory and welcomes all children.
