Winter Warm Up Flyer
PALATINE, Ill. – The Harper College baseball program and USA Baseball- National Team Identification Series (NTIS) have teamed up to offer a unique four-session clinic for players looking to improve their offensive and defensive skills while learning in a fun and educational environment. In addition to working with Harper College baseball coaches and players, Pete Caliendo, Director of the Great Lakes Region for USA Baseball, will be on site to identify possible national team players for USA Baseball as well as instruct a coaches clinic on February 5th. The Great Lakes Region consists of five states: Illinois, Iowa, Indiana, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. Tryouts for potential national team players are held in each state at the ages of 17U, 16U, 14U, 13U, and 11U. This is an opportunity for baseball players to train like a college player. Instruction will cover the mechanics and fundamentals of hitting, bunting, base running, throwing, pitching, and fielding. Players will be grouped by age and ability to ensure a positive and productive experience.
Coaches Clinic- Presented by Pete Caliendo February 5th 6-9pm, $10 per coach. The Clinic will be a training program which involves hands on training for youth baseball coaches.
