Grab your cellphone, your cellphone charger, your car with a tank of gas (or your bicycle), your good walking/running shoes, and get ready for a great adventure in this year's Halloween Techno Zombie Geo Cache Hunt! in Palatine.

Haunted House, funny challenges, running from zombies, seeking interesting locations and more....

This year's game includes members of the local girl scout troupe Palatine/Rolling meadows who will be acting as zombies at various locations protecting the clue buckets.

Every player is given a chance to run around the zombies to get to the bucket, or to outwit them. If they cannot get past the zombies, the player need to hand over a gold chocolate coin from their goody bags. The zombie with the most gold chocolate coins (uneaten) wins a prize. Players lose points for refilling their chocolate coin supply at the refill stations.

This year's route is full of new locations mixed with fun old ones with a new twist. Players returning this year will enjoy a greater variety of clues, activities, and locations, as well as creepy little zombies.

Ticket prices are the same as last year: Adults $20, Children $10

Game time: The game runs between 9:00 am and 7:00 pm. Awards celebration is from 7:30pm till 10:00 pm
