2 Shot Outside Of Hickory Hills Restaurant

The shooting happened outside Prime Time and may resulted from an argument between two men who had earlier been at the restaurant, cops say.

HICKORY HILLS, IL — Two men were shot outside of a popular Hickory Hills restaurant early Friday morning. Both were transported to Advocate Christ Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

The shooting unfolded around 12:30 a.m. at PrimeTime Restaurant, 7750 W. 95th St. A preliminary investigation revealed that two men were walking back to their vehicle or vehicles when they were shot.

Police said the incident was not a random act of violence, and is believed to be related to an earlier altercation inside the restaurant.

Jim Les, whose family owns Prime Time, said the restaurant had nothing to do with shooting.

“Just some morons outside started it,” Les told Patch. “Luckily none of our customers were outside when it happened.”

The investigation is ongoing and no one has been charged.
