2 Suspects On The Run After Burglarizing Palos Park Home: Cops

PALOS PARK, IL — Palos Park police are looking for two men who they say burglarized a residence Friday evening. A review of home video and exterior cameras in the area is underway.

Shortly after 7 p.m., police responded to a burglary call in the area of 123rd Street and 113th Avenue. Police said the homeowner was in an upstairs bedroom, when she heard the front door bell ring. The homeowner did not answer the doorbell. Moments later, she heard someone walking around downstairs. When the person realized the homeowner was in the house, two male voices yelled at each other to “get out.”

The suspects ran from the house. The homeowner was not able to provide a description or vehicle information. Officers were canvassing the area, looking for the suspects and neighbors with home security video systems.

Police said home security video captured two men in hooded sweatshirts running out of the house and jumping into an SUV driven by a third person. Evidence technicians were reviewing video from exterior cameras.
