2023 Football Schedule Released For Stagg High School

PALOS HILLS, IL — With a little less than four weeks until the first high school football practices begin in Illinois on Aug. 7, the countdown to the fall season is officially underway. A nine-game regular season runs through the end of October, before the postseason culminates with state championship games scheduled for the weekend of Nov. 24-25 at Illinois State University.

The Illinois High School Association, in partnership with Max Preps, recently announced schedules for the varsity teams. In Palos Hills, fans will especially be keeping tabs on the local team at Stagg High School, as well as the area Catholic high schools.

This fall, the Chargers will be joined in the Southwest Suburban Red Conference by Andrew (Tinley Park), Bradley-Bourbonnais (Bradley), Lincoln Way-Central and Lincoln-Way West.

Locally, Stagg High School’s regular season begins on the road Aug. 25, when the Stagg Chargers face off against Joliet Central Steelmen. Kickoff is at 6:30 p.m.
