3 Cars Stolen From Palos Hills Driveways

Two of the vehicles stolen were unlocked with the key fobs inside, Palos Hills police said.

PALOS HILLS, IL — Palos Hills police are investigating a string of car thefts that happened Oct. 1 and Oct. 2. The cars were all heisted from residents’ driveways, reports said.

Residents reported parking their vehicles in their driveways in the 8900 block of 98th Place during the overnight hours on Sept. 30. When they went to get their vehicles the next morning, they were gone. Police said the cars were unlocked and the key fobs were left inside.

On Oct. 2, officers returned to the 8800 block of 98th Street to investigate another stolen vehicle. The residents parked their vehicle in the driveway and the next morning it was gone.
