Accelerated Winter Courses Offered Online At Moraine Valley

PALOS HILLS, IL — Moraine Valley Community College will make 32 courses available in four-week winter sessions starting Dec. 19. The accelerated online courses are formally part of the spring semester, and many transfer to four-year colleges and universities.

College students who are home for the holidays can register for some of these general classes as a visiting university student.

Classes include Intro to Physical Anthropology, Cannabis Introduction, Fundamentals of Chemistry, Java Programming I, Composition I and II, Intro to Criminal Justice, Principles of Macro-Economics, Trigonometric Functions, Intro to Psychology, General Sociology and Film Appreciation, among others.

New students must complete an admission application and can register in the Registration Office, located on campus in the Student Services Center (Building S), 9000 W.
