Allison Grasso New Palos East Elementary Assistant Principal

The Palos 118 Board of Education has approved the hiring of Allison Grasso as Palos East Elementary's new assistant principal.

Mrs. Grasso has 16 years of experience in the field of education and will serve as assistant principal for Palos East Elementary starting in the 2024-25 school year.

Palos School District 118 will kick off the 2024-25 school year with a new assistant principal at Palos East Elementary.

In June, the Palos 118 Board of Education approved the hiring of Allison Grasso as the school’s new assistant principal.

Mrs. Grasso has 16 years of experience in the field of education. She previously taught 6th grade English Language Arts (ELA) and Math at Oster-Oakview School in New Lenox School District 122. Before that, she taught 1st grade at Sorrick School in North Palos School District 117.

Mrs. Grasso received her bachelor’s degree from Eastern Illinois University, holds a master’s degree in teaching from Lewis University, and a degree in education administration from Olivet Nazarene University. In addition, she has earned an English Language (EL) endorsement and has previous experience working with EL students.

“I am so excited to be joining the administration team in District 118! I look forward to supporting our students, staff and parents in any way I can,” said Mrs. Grasso.
