PALOS HEIGHTS, IL — An Alsip woman is accused of secretly videotaping her mother. Cyndee Harris, 48, was charged Thursday with felony unlawful video recording transmission after a months’ long investigation.

Palos Heights police were called to the 200 block of Sawgrass Drive on May 5. The mother had discovered that her adult daughter had set up covert cameras through the house, police said. The recording equipment was seized and used as evidence.

The covert videos were apparently been uploaded to social media sites by Harris and shared with her and her mother’s friends, police said.
