PALOS PARK, IL — Celebrate the bees, butterflies and birds at Pollinator Palooza, Saturday, May 2, presented by the Palos Park Woman’s Club. The fun and educational day runs from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at McCord Galley and Cultural Center, 9602 W. Creek Road, Palos Park.

Pollinator Palooza is a half-day program designed for gardeners of all levels. U of I Extension horticulture educator Nancy Kuhajda will share practical, engaging insights on how to identify pollinators. Chicago Botanic Garden Instructor Nina Koziol will show how to create a garden that attracts and sustains bees, butterflies, birds, and other nectar- and pollen-seeking creatures. Learn how to transform your outdoor space into a vibrant, colorful oasis that supports local wildlife.
In addition to the presentations, attendees can enjoy visiting vendors and exhibitors offering pollinator-friendly garden ideas, products, and resources, perfect for anyone looking to garden with purpose.
