PALOS PARK, IL—Palos Park police will host their spring community lunch forum Monday, May 18. The lunch gets going at 12:30 p.m. at Cog Hill Country Club, 12294 Archer Ave.
The forums focus on the future of public safety and the Palos Park Police Department’s accountability and cooperation between residents and officers.
“We can’t wait for something catastrophic to happen in our communities before we start engaging, humanizing law enforcement as much as we possibly can to bring down that barrier of 'us against them,” said Chief Joe Miller, of the Palos Park Police Department. “The impetus behind organizing these events is to strengthen relationships between the community, police, and our partners and learn what resources are available to them, address concerns and follow up with action plans.”
For more information and reservations, contact Chief Miller for more details and reservation confirmation. Contact Chief Joe Miller for more details and reservation confirmation for our hosting restaurant 708-671-3771 or jmiller@palospark.org
