Arrangements Set for Palos Park Man Slain In Robbery

Visitation and funeral details for Kevin O'Malley, 25, of Palos Park, who was killed during a robbery on Chicago's North Side early Saturday

Arrangements have been made for Kevin O’Malley, 25, who was slain during a street robbery early Saturday morning on Chicago’s North Side.

Visitation will be 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, June 2, at Our Lady of the Woods Church, 10731 W. 131st St., Orland Park.

Family and friends will gather for Mass of the Resurrection at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 3, at Our Lady of the Woods.

Interment will be Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Alsip.

Kevin was the devoted son of Brian and Sharon (O’Donnell) and a loving brother to Erin (AJ) Carlson, Michael (Meg) O’Malley, and twin brother Brian O’Malley.

He leaves a cherished girlfriend, Michelle Rinck.

Kevin was also the proud grandson of Eileen O’Malley and Donna O’Donnell, and beloved uncle to Sean, Danny and Charlie, and a dear nephew and cousin to many.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Edward O’Malley and Roy O’Donnell.

Kevin’s family asks that in lieu of flowers memorials be made in his name to the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of ChicagopAkUc2w3wGAXI2m3E42I3PRf9rbr6tsmIz-6YzvO 225 E. Chicago Ave., Chicago, IL. 60611.
