Man Under Arrest Coughs On Cops, Says He Has Coronavirus: Police
Palos Hills police said the man met them with clenched fists when he began spitting and pushing the officers.

PALOS HILLS, IL — A Palos Hills man is accused of coughing on police officers and telling them he had coronavirus. Maurice Wilson, 32, was charged with misdemeanor domestic battery and felony battery to a police officer.
According to a Palos Hills police report, officers responded to a domestic trouble call around 8 p.m. April 13 in the 8400 block of 99th Terrace. Wilson met the officers with clenched fists, and began pushing and spitting at police, reports said.
When processing Wilson at the station, police said he openly coughed on police and told them he had coronavirus. Wilson appeared for a bond hearing at the Bridgeview Courthouse, where bail was set at $50,000.
