Artists Invited to Apply for 'Love the Park' Fine Arts Fair'
Palos Park's juried art fair is accepting artists applications through April 3, including ten spots for high school and college students.

PALOS PARK, IL – The Village of Palos Park is currently accepting applications for its second annual ‘Love the Park’ Fine Arts Fair on Saturday, May 20 and Sunday, May 21. The deadline for applications is Monday, April 3.
Fine artists are invited to apply to participate in this juried art fair which will be held on the Village Green, Palos Park’s community gathering place at 8901 W. 123rd St.
Accepted media include jewelry, photography, pottery/sculpture, paintings (acrylic, oil, pastels, watercolor), glass/ceramics, leather/wood/fiber, mixed media/printmaking/pen & ink. Best in Show ribbons will awarded as well as a People’s Choice Award. A non-refundable $15 application/jury fee per medium is due with the application. The booth fee is $150 for a 10’x10’ space. Tables and chairs are available to rent for additional fees. Only white tents are allowed. Artists may apply at ZAPP.

High school and college students are invited to apply as Emerging Artists with no application fee, but will be juried. A $50 booth fee includes an 8’x10’ space, sharing one half of a 10’x20’ tent, an 8-foot table and two chairs. Only ten Emerging Artists will be chosen to participate. The two-day event will feature entertainment, food, wine, craft beers, musical entertainment throughout the day, Community Art Project, Art and the Automobile takes place Saturday with Art and the Family happening Sunday.. The art fair will be open Saturday, May 20 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, May 21 from noon to 5 p.m. Overnight security will be provided. Parking and admission are free.
