Shoplifter Throws Crackers At Mini-Mart Clerk’s Head, Steals Candy Bar

PALOS HILLS, IL — Police are investigating an assault with crackers that happened Sunday in Palos Hills.

A mini-mart clerk at a gas station near 103rd Street and Harlem Avenue, told officers he saw a man place a candy bar in his pocket. When the mini-mart clerk confronted the man, he threw a box of crackers at the mini-mart clerk’s head.

Reports said the purported shoplifter fled the store with the candy bar.
