
Aurora A. Cleofe, nee Apolinario, passed away on January 22, 2024. Born in Manila, Philippines, she was raised in Libmanan in Camarines Sur, Philippines. Beloved wife of Dennis J. Cleofe. Loving mother of Mark (Jasmin), Greg (Ann), Christine (David) Zdunek, and Kevin (Leila). Adoring grandmother of Alex, Neo, Ethan, Quinn, Annabel, Dylan, Mabel, and Jubilee. Loyal daughter of the late Luis and Antonia (nee Hernandez) Apolinario. Dear sister of the late Virginia (late Jose) Ordonez, Amelia (Doming) Gomez, Luis Jr. (late Portia), Noel (Susan), and Marilou (Jessing) Parafina. Kind aunt of many nieces and nephews. Loved by many cousins, friends, and neighbors.
Known as Bebott to all who knew her well, Aurora was a caring nurse. She started her career at the Mayo Clinic but spent most of her career at and retired from Stroger Hospital, formerly Cook County Hospital in Chicago, IL. She loved God, Jesus Christ, and Mother Mary, often praying to them and for others. She enjoyed traveling and good food, generously mixing the two with friends and relatives. Most of all she loved her family, all of whom will miss her dearly.
