Missing Palos Heights teen found on North Side, cops say.

PALOS HEIGHTS, IL -- A Palos Heights teen reported has been found safe. Reese Frohlich, 17, who has autism, walked out of his residence Sunday afternoon. He was found several hours later on Chicago's North Side. Police believed he walked the entire way.

Palos Heights and Palos Park police had been out searching the area late Sunday evening, assisted by the Cook County Sheriff’s Police K9 team.

“Thank God the weather wasn't freezing cold the ways it has been,” said Deputy Chief Bill Czajkowski of the Palos Heights Police Department. “When the weather clears we hope to get our drone up.”
