Baby Expo Chicago Due At Moraine Valley Sept. 9

Family Time Magazine's Baby Expo offers demonstrations, speakers and gear for babies of all ages Sept. 9 at MVCC.

PALOS HILLS, IL -- biggest of its kind in the Chicago region. Family Time Magazine’s Baby Expo 2017 gets underway this Saturday, Sept. 9, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The biggest of its kind Baby Expo in the Chicago region will be held at Moraine Valley Community College (9000 W. College Parkway, Building M) in Palos Hills. The first 500 people through the doors will receive free goodie bags.

Whether you are expecting a little one or already have children, your family will enjoy this event for one-stop shopping and gear for babies of all ages. The Baby Expo features the newest and most unique merchandise and services available for the care of babies. Some of the featured products at this year's expo are not yet available in stores.

This year's Expo will feature over 40 booths where parents can find baby medical services, baby care supplies, stylish diaper bags, professional photographers, childcare centers, safe furniture, baby/children's clothing, neighborhood parks and museums, enrichment programs, child book stores, libraries and more. Parents and grandparents can also check out expert demonstrations on car seat safety, strollers, high chairs, pack- and-plays and more.

Special guest speaker Janel Hughes, a breastfeeding expert from the Will County Health Department, will speak on sustaining breastfeeding and networking for the common good of helping women breastfeeding in the Chicago and south suburban areas.

There’s plenty to keep older sibs occupied too, including pony rides, singing and dancing, face painting, balloon twisting and a bounce house for kids, characters and a baby diaper derby. Fun and exciting giveaways will be handed out throughout the event, including the latest baby products.
