Back To School: North Palos Dist. 117 Academic Calendar 2023-2024

PALOS HILLS, IL — Back-to-school planning has already begun in North Palos School Dist. 117 for the 2023-2024 academic school year, with calendars available to help parents prepare their children for a smooth transition into the new school year.

The first day of school for grades K-8 is Aug. 18, with preschoolers reporting Aug. 22 for North Palos School Dist. 117 in Palos Hills and Hickory Hills.

Some dates are subject to change during the school year. We also suggest that you check the Dist. 117 calendar or your child’s school (Glen Oaks, Sorrick, Dorn, Oak Ridge and Conrady Junior High) for late starts, early dismissals, exams, open houses, athletic and school events, as well as your child's school.

Aug. 18 - First day of school, grades K-8 (half day)
