Back To School: North Palos School Dist. 117 School Calendar 2024-2025

PALOS HILLS-HICKORY HILLS, IL — There are just a few short weeks of summer left, until students head back to school this month. Back-to-school planning has already begun in North Palos School Dist. 117 with calendars available to help parents prepare their children for a smooth transition into the 2024-2025 school year.

The first day of school for D117 students will be Aug. 16 for K-8 students, with the first day of preschool Aug. 20.

Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change. We also suggest that you check the Dist. 117 calendar and your child’s school calendar (Glen Oaks, Sorrick, Dorn, Oak Ridge and Conrady Junior High) for conferences, open houses, meetings, exams, early dismissals, athletic and other school events.

Jan. 6 - Institute Day, no student attendance
