PALOS HEIGHTS, IL — Back-to-school planning has already begun for the 2023-2024 academic school year, with calendars available to help parents prepare their children for a smooth transition into the new school year.
The first day of school for students is Aug. 24, with a noon dismissal for D128 schools in Palos Hills and Hickory Hills.
Some dates are subject to change during the school year. We also suggest that you check the Dist. 128 calendar or your child’s school (Indian Hill, Chippewa, Navajo Heights and Independence Junior High) for late starts, early dismissals, exams, open houses, athletic and school events, as well as your child's school.
