Black Lives Matter Protest Planned For July 20 In Palos Hills

The City of Palos Hills has been notified that an organization called Beyond the Borders in support of Black Lives Matter will be conducting a march in Palos Hills on Saturday July 18, 2020.

The protest/march is organized by a group that has recently marched in many suburban towns. These protest have been peaceful in nature.
The march is scheduled to start at approximately 4:00 pm. and is expected to be over approximately 7:00 pm.

The route will be from Stagg High School at 111th and Roberts Road northbound on Roberts Road to 103rd street and back to Stagg High School.
Roberts Road between 111th St and 103rd St will be closed to traffic during the march. Residents and business owners should plan on Roberts Road being closed during the event.
Palos Hills Police will be present to provide protection to citizens and property.
