Blocks of Shopping, Tons of Fun Offered At Hickory Hills Street Fair

HICKORY HILLS, IL — The Hickory Hills Street Fair returns to its original dates the last weekend of June, which this year falls on June 24 and June 25. The 43rd annual street fair features an arts and crafts show, beer and wine, food vendors, entertainment and rides. You can find the fair on Roberts Road between 91st and 95th Streets.

The street fair kicks off Saturday, June 24, with an outdoor concert in the Main Stage Beer Tent in the Huntington Bank parking lot at the corner of 94th Street and Roberts Road. Heartless, the ultimate Heart tribute band, hits the stage from 7 to 10 p.m. The concert is free.

Sunday, June 25, features a full day of fun from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., including a carnival, car show, crafters, food vendors, bingo and more.

Kasey Meadow Park, 8047 W. 91st Place, features kiddie rides, including a Monster Truck bouncy and inflatable slide, plus a variety of games.

The HUGE Hickory Hills Car Show, situated on Roberts Road between 95th and 93rd Streets, showcases over 80 classic wheels on display from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Check-in time is 10 to 11 a.m. The registration fee is $15. Some spots are still available, on a first come, first served basis. See the application.

Bingo will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.; karaoke, 1 to 3:30 p.m.; with Lizzy and The Rockers taking to 4 to 7 p.m.
