Body Pulled From Cal-Sag Channel
Authorities are in the process of recovering a body that was spotted floating in the Cal-Sag Channel late Friday afternoon.
PALOS HEIGHTS -- Fire crews are in the process of recovering a body from the Cal Sag Channel in Palos Township. A body was reported in the water around 4:15 p.m. Friday near Harlem Avenue and College Drive. Palos Heights police and the Palos Heights Fire Protection District are at the scene.
Illinois State Police are investigating. The age and gender of the body are unknown. Check back later for updates.
