Body Pulled from Cal-Sag River Near Worth: Cops
A boater spotted the body of a male Monday afternoon in the Cal-Sag River near Worth, Illinois State Police said.

WORTH, IL -- A body was pulled out of the Cal-Sag River Monday afternoon. The body is currently unidentified and in the custody of the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Around 2:15 p.m., Illinois State Police said a boater discovered the body floating in the river. The body was spotted by the boat launch near 115th Street and Harlem Avenue in Worth. Worth police and the North Palos Fire Protection District also responded to the scene. Fire officials said the body was that of a male.
The case is currently under investigation. The cause and manner of death is pending, the medical examiner’s office said.
