Building a Local Start Up

CreatorCo is a local startup started in the suburbs of Chicago by students at Palos South Middle School (now most of us are at Amos Alonzo Stagg High School), originally as a platform that allows students to find new apps to use in the classroom. But as the students who built the platform started to grow up, so did the platform. We now are somewhat of a social media company tiring to create a new way that allows students to express themselves and publish there our creations, which an important step that allows students to explore what they want to do in the future.

Building a Social Media company is one of the most time consuming, messy, and unorganized process that a human being can encounter. That's why, we hear at CreatorCo, aren't building a social media company. Because that is simply to easy in a sense. We're creating a community. A community of people, ideas, art, content, and some of the fascinating concepts created by students and teenagers. A community that doesn't focus on turning over a profit, or even breaking even. In general, money isn't even a thing that we look at when we take into consideration a project. We're a community that first of all doesn't collect your data because we don't want it, meaning that we don't sell it. And finally, we're a community that allows you to start building your own internet footprint. Releasing only what you want to release into the world, nothing more, nothing less. And that is the beauty of a community. That you build relationships, bonds, and somethings that are just... indescribable. Even though we are just starting out, and we still have a long way to go to have all of our kinks and issues ironed out. But we need you to help us build the platform, and change the world.
