Employee Credit Cards Maxed Out, Business Owner Thinks They Were Skimmed: Reports

The business owner soon learned that all the company credit cards daily allowances were maxed out, reports said.

PALOS HILLS, IL — A business owner came to the Palos Hills police station on Feb. 8 to report that fraudulent charges had been made on the company credit cards, reports said.

The business owner told officers that the company provides credit cards to their employees. When the business owner tried to use the company credit card, it was denied. The business owner soon learned that all the company credit cards daily allowances were maxed out.

Police said the business owner believes they were victims of a skimming device.
