The Center Hosts Virtual Benefit To Support Camp Scholarships

PALOS PARK, IL — The Center in Palos Park is hosting a virtual fundraiser to support the camp scholarship fund from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 17. “A Night To Linger” aims to raise $50,000, to send deserving local kids in need to farm and ranch camp this summer, which has been exhausting kids with fun since 1932.

“A Night To Linger” features an online silent auction, livestream camp impact statements and gift card giveaway. Ways to support the camp scholarships include:

• Purchase a virtual ticket to the event or donate another amount;
• Tune into The Center’s livestream on Feb. 17;
• Participate as a bidder in the online silent auction;
• Donate silent auction items, experiences or gift cards;
• Help current campers whose families are facing financial difficulties and other could not be able to attend camp.

Tickets are $25 and can be purchased on The Center’s website. Join the benefit Feb. 17 on the Center’s homepage. The Center will be sending out more information about the “A Night To Linger” over the next few weeks.
