PALOS PARK, IL —When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented and changing times.

Reason for recognition: I have known this man for many years. As a former police officer in the village, I admire what Chief Miller has done for the Palos Park police and for the surrounding areas. I wish I was still a member of the finest police department in the USA!
