Children of Fallen Patriots Fund sends children of those we remember on Memorial Day to college
What are you doing today to remember those who died so we could shop, bar-b-que, mow the lawn or visit with friends today? The Children of Fallen Patriots fund is an organization worthy of your attention -- especially today.
The Children of Fallen Patriots helps make college education completely debt-free for kids who have lost a parent in the line of military duty. On its website it says, "Ensuring an education for those left behind." Independent Charities of America, the Better Business Bureau and Gold Star exchange all give The Children of Fallen Patriots high ratings, so you know the organization is legitimate.
How can you help? First, you can donate something to the current fundraiser. The group is trying to raise $30,000 in two days to cover another scholarship. You can donate any amount that feels right. Nothing is too big or too small when you're trying to cover educational costs.

Second, you can help them identify students who potentially qualify for a scholarship. On their website, the Children of Fallen Patriots Fund notes that they have already identified 5,000+ children. Their goal is to help 15,000 students.
The best part is that 100% of your donation goes to help the children. Don't believe that? Here's some additional information from the FAQ section of the website.
